Primary Supervisor: Alex Czekanski

Burak Yenigun was born in Turkey. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees at Harran University; then, he earned his doctoral degree at Batman university. His research and teaching experience consists of ten years of experience working as a Research Assistant and Assistant Professor at Batman University. During this period, He supervised undergraduate students and graduate students in their research projects. He has further acquired knowledge of engineering systems and applications, emphasizing designing, building, and testing mechanical practices. He is an advanced user of various automated solutions of Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Ansys, Ls-Dyna, Abaqus, MATLAB, Mastercam, and Solidcam. He is currently a postdoctoral visitor in the Innovative Design and Engineering Analysis Laboratory of Assoc. Prof. Alexander Czekanski at York University. His work focuses on the analytical and numerical modeling of the thermo-viscoelastic behavior of elastomers.
