Dr. C.L. Ren (R-II *) is a Prof. at the Dept. of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, U. Waterloo, and Canada Research Chair in Droplet Microfluidics and Lab-on-a-Chip Technology. Her research focuses
on developing microfluidic platform technology towards high-throughput analysis and point-of-care applications as well as material synthesis towards additive manufacturing. She is also a Fellow of CSME, and a recipient of Research Excellence Award given by the Faculty of Engineering and Ontario Early Research Award. She has published 76 journal articles.
