Daphene was born and raised in the tropical lands of south Brazil her passions involve hiking in the mountains, cooking, and bioprinting. Nowadays she lives in Toronto - CA where she spends most of her time at York University where she is currently developing her Ph.D. in mechanical engineering. Daphene's research is focused on the development of 4D bioprinted thermoresponsive structures that in the future may restore and replace blood vessels.
