Dr. R. Guthrie (ICPC*) is a MacDonald Prof. of Metallurgy at the Department of Mining and Materials Engineering, U. McGill and 2006 Killam Prize Recipient. As Director of the McGill Metals Processing Centre, he collaborates with some twenty companies in the ferrous and non-ferrous sectors of the metals industries and conducts research in the fields of fluid flow phenomena for the design, operation, and optimization of metallurgical processes. He has authored over 500 publications, 3 books, and 170 patents. His latest book presents further insights into liquid metals. HQP: 80, h-index: 40.
